Specialist care is not always in Omaha, and it is not always in Nebraska. A treatment centre in Lincoln, a facility in Grand Island, a transfer to Kansas City or Des Moines, a discharge that needs somebody to drive several hours and wait — these are the journeys that get turned down elsewhere.
Nebraska end to end — Omaha to the panhandle — and Iowa are regular work. Beyond that we go where a client needs us: Kansas City and Minnesota come up a few times a year, usually for private-pay riders arranging something specific. If the journey is long, ask; the answer is more often yes than not.
Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available for these journeys exactly as they are for a short one.
